Privacy policy
Protecting your data matters to us. This policy explains which data we process when you visit yumsociety.ch, place an order or contact us – under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

1. Controller
YUM Society, Milan Jacoby, sole proprietorship, Bernrainstrasse 2, 8280 Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. Privacy requests to info@yumsociety.ch.
2. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit, technical data such as IP address, time, page requested, browser and referrer are processed in server logs to deliver and secure the site. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure visits without cookies and without identifying you. Vercel BotID protects the forms against automated access by checking technical characteristics of the request, without identifying you.
3. Orders and payment
Orders are processed through the checkout of Shopify International Ltd. Name, address, e-mail address, order details and – via the respective payment providers – payment information are processed to fulfil the contract, deliver and meet statutory retention duties.
4. Contact form
Enquiries sent via the contact form are delivered to us as e-mail through Resend (USA). We process the details (name, e-mail, phone, company, channel, number of stores, sample request, message) solely to answer your enquiry.
7. Transfers abroad
Some of the providers named are based in the USA or the EU. Transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or the Federal Council's adequacy decision.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and receive your data, and to object to processing. Write to info@yumsociety.ch. Complaints can be lodged with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
9. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose or required by law (business records: 10 years).
